Antinea Airlines: Should I be worried?
We are at the Hongqiao Airport about to board one of this airline's planes to Kunming. Airline code is HO. Headquaters are in Algeria. Hub is Houari Boumedienne Airport. Never heard of Antinea before, and have no idea what they are doing in China. According the Wikipedia the airline is "defunct."

Turns out HO stands for Juneyao Airlines, a relatively new (and half decent) budget airline that I actually have flown before. I guess they recycle airline codes?
Speaking of airline codes, I am currently at Kunming airport waiting to board my flight to Dali. Airline code for this one? 8L. Something called Redhill Aviation. Another winner, I am sure.

Hi Guys,
(Chinese: 吉祥航空; pinyin: Jíxiáng Hángkōng)
I've just learnt of JuneYao Airlines myself. I'm told it means "good luck". I was also a bit shocked when I saw the unfamiliar "HO" code when my flight ticket was delivered to me for flight HO1120 from Chengdu to Pudong (Shanghai).
After Googling "HO", I read that another airline also has the same code. Antinea Airlines was a passenger and cargo airline based in Algiers Houari Boumedienne Airport, Algeria and was founded in June 1991.
Anyhow, my Chinese assistant has confirmed with the travel agent which we've used before, and the airline that we have booked this time is in fact ... HO1120 - JuneYao , a privately owned Shanghai-based that made its maiden flight in September 2006.
Link below for pictures of JuneYao planes ...
